Eggs are purchased to be hatched into pets, which boost the amount of taps players get. Super Rebirth pets also boost the amount of Super Rebirths players obtain per super rebirth. Starting from The Mine egg, there is a very low chance to hatch a secret pet, which is much more powerful than the regular pets. All eggs that were released prior to The Mine egg did not have a secret pet variety.
